Resigning Ferguson police chief to get severance payment: city

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Reuters) - Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson resigned on Wednesday, effective March 19, and will receive a severance payment and one year of health insurance, the city said on Wednesday in a statement.
