RI gas prices fall another penny

Gasoline prices down another penny in Rhode Island; have fallen 19 cents in last month

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- Gas prices have fallen another penny in Rhode Island in the last week and are down 19 cents over the past month.

AAA Southern New England said Monday that the average cost for a gallon of self-serve, regular is $3.49, one cent less than a week ago.

The current price is three cents lower than the national per-gallon average of $3.52.

Rhode Islanders were paying an average of $3.87 a year ago at this time.
