"[Rihanna is] one of the coolest, hottest, most talented, most liked, most listened to, most followed, most impressive artists at work today, but she does it in her own stride.... This is the beginning for Rihanna.... She is just getting going, so watch out," designer Stella McCartney said of the pop star-turned movie star in the Time 100 issue.

Director/producer Judd Apatow had high praise for "Saturday Night Live" and "Bridesmaids" star Kristen Wiig, recalling the first time he laid eyes on her comedy chops in action.

"I remember seeing Kristen Wiig on her first episode of 'Saturday Night Live.' I don't remember the sketch, I just remember her. She was so confident and funny right out of the gate. You would have thought she had been on the show for years. She was instantly one of my all-time favorite cast members," he told the mag.

Pink was overjoyed to talk about fellow chart-topping queen Adele with the mag.

"I'm always so happy when the world catches on to something great. Especially when it's authentic talent, great songwriting and a unique package. I am so relieved that Adele possesses the kind of beauty that she does, that she's crass and funny and that she sings live -- and incredibly. Her success renews hope in me that the world I live in has good taste -- that we still occasionally come back to what's simple, and simply amazing. I can't wait to hear what she does next," she said of the British singer.

Michael Burgess (R-Texas), who believes that abortion should be banned earlier than the Supreme Court says it should because, in part, he knows fetuses feel pain. He knows this because he says he's seen male fetuses begin masturbating in the womb around 15 weeks into a pregnancy.

    • Rick Perry Goes to War Against Connecticut

Rick Perry, the Texas governor and 2012 "oops" presidential candidate, is spending the beginning of this week in Connecticut. Perry, as the governor of Texas, has little on-its-face reason to be in Connecticut. Except, of course, for one: Texas's unemployment rate, which at 6.4 percent in April is significantly lower than the national average, is still not quite ideal. Perry wants to bring jobs to his state. And, as he sees it, some of those jobs could come from Connecticut.
