RiRi revealed the artwork for ‘Anti’ at the Mama gallery in downtown Los Angeles in a private viewing.

Israeli artist Roy Machum designed the artwork (Ri’s ‘favourite album cover’ ever), which features an image of Rihanna as a child holding a black balloon while a gold crown covers her eyes.

Over the image is a poem written by Chloe Mitchell - who’s work has been used by Kanye West in the past - in Braille.

Explaining why she choose to work with Roy, Rihanna said: “He see things beyond the surface which is why I decided to collaborate with him. He really interpreted it in his own way, with exactly the message I wanted.

“The whole idea behind the Braille is that people who have sight are sometimes the people who are blindest.”

There are seven pieces of artwork with ‘Anti’, the poems for all of which you can read here.

The incredible singer herself has been sharing a bunch of teasers on her Instagram, including this description:

As well as offering a definition for ‘anti’, the description also reads: “In her collaboration with Roy Nachum, Rihanna has changed the history of album art.

“By continuing to follow her own instincts, her work strives to make an impact by doing the very antithesis of what the public expects.”

Sadly, there’s no news yet on a release date, so we’ll just have to sit here twiddling our fingers and watching paint dry until she reveals all. Please don’t leave us waiting, Rihanna.
