    Garrett serves clients across the industry spectrum who need various energy services at various times.

    Energy buyers need low cost energy pricing, competitive pricing and downstream service. Garrett provides this as his specialty. Some buyers need such thing as power factor correction, LaaR (Load Acting as a Resource) or EILS (Emergency Interupptible Load Service), bill audits, lighting retrofits, solar solutions, or control systems.

    Garrett connects his customers to the resources who are part of his energy team, as a way of providing full service to his customers. While he doesn't pretend to be an expert on anything other than energy procurement, he does know the experts who do what's best in their specialty.

    This approach has worked well, and delivered more value to his clients.

    Added value is what it's all about in this economy, and that's what Garrett intends to provide.

    A new added value he's been able to offer is making sure that if his clients have the ability to pay the electric company with a corporate credit card that offers airline miles, they then cut their corporate travel costs, as an added value service.

    Lastly, there are new charges that appear on Texas electric bills, and he makes sure those charges that need to be locked and fixed, are locked and fixed. These items would include things like the new RUC charges, congestion charges, and making sure the pricing is obtained from either hub or zone pricing, whichever is best for his client.

    He also likes to make sure his clients pay no meter fees nor any deposits. So far, he says, in nearly 10 years, he has yet to have a customer pay a deposit, and has in fact, helped many get back the deposits that were on file with a prior power company.

    Bottom line he says, "It's all about value for my clients. That's always number one."
