    The Rock Group Designs PR Power’s New Website Examining the Classic Question - What Do Clients Want?!

    The Rock Group, a Miami creative agency recently completed a new website design for PR Power, a Ft. Lauderdale, Florida Public Relations agency. The site incorporates video, recent news and profiles of the PR Power team and clients, providing an overview of the agency’s work for a broad group of international clients. PR Power works with The Rock Group on a variety of marketing and public relations and writing projects. Web design is just one of The Rock Group’s marketing venues; the creative agency also specializes in branding, advertising, interactive and mobile communications, video, photography, publishing and design services.

    Since driving traffic to websites is a main goal of public relations strategies, The Rock Group, a Miami-based creative agency, worked with PR Power, a Ft. Lauderdale agency, to take a hard look at its own website. “We work with our clients to write and update their websites--their most important marketing tool--making them relevant and helpful to those looking for information. We knew we had to do the same!” says Marilyn DeMartini, founder of the 15 year-old company.

    “Public Relations has changed dramatically and we must be educated about and ahead of the trends,” she adds, “With Tony Esposito and Lizz Egan as members of the PR Power team, we have a well-rounded base of expertise and talent and we needed to better communicate who we are, how we work and how we can help other businesses.”

    The Rock Group took a new approach to the site, utilizing its expertise in branding, internet solutions, advertising and media. The site took shape as the team focused on what prospective clients would want to know about an agency. The Rock Group suggested adding video, links and other elements to boost the SEO of the site. “We have worked well together for years!” agency owner, Roch Nakajima says of DeMartini, “We understand how we and our respective parts of the business complement each other—it was fun for us to work with Marilyn, Tony and Lizz on this project.”

    Combining videos, media clips, client endorsements, press releases and photos provides insight into the team, its field and the work accomplished for its clients. That list is a Who’s Who of the performance boating business, like Cigarette Racing Team, Latham Marine and Peters & May, as well as some companies outside the marine industry. One of PR Power and the Rock Group’s clients, Waboba, a water sport toy, just hit the PR trifecta, being covered on ABC Evening News, Live with Regis & Kelly, and Good Morning America—all within a month.

    DeMartini’s roots as a journalist help the agency focus on editors’ needs and on top-notch writing; she also maintains freelance writer status with several international publications. Tony Esposito, former Marketing Director for Mercury Racing, adds a corporate perspective and wealth of marine industry knowledge; Lizz Egan’s retail experience and love for social networking and technology provides an important dimension for the agency. “We each have our strengths and complement each other, providing different outlooks and approaches,” DeMartini notes, “We are friends in addition to co-workers, have a great network of affiliates and try to make our work enjoyable for ourselves and our clients.
