    Romney raises $24 million

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney raised $24 million during the last three months of 2011.

Romney's campaign announced the year's final fundraising numbers on Wednesday, a day after he won the New Hampshire primary. It's his best fundraising quarter of the primary campaign so far. The former Massachusetts governor has $19 million to use in upcoming primaries as he looks to become the GOP nominee.

The total means that Romney raised $56 million in 2011. He announced his candidacy in June. Romney, a multimillionaire, didn't make any personal contributions to the campaign. In 2008, he contributed more than $45 million of his own money. The announcement underscores Romney's huge financial advantage over the conservative rivals scrambling to beat him in South Carolina's Jan. 21 primary.

$24 million? Chickenfeed. Wait until the big money comes in.
The only sector that can save our economy after all the socialism is Wall St, and they will buy in big.

And the Supreme Court says Corporations can contribute UNLIMITED amounts in SECRET. There is over FOUR TRILLION Dollars available sitting idle in the coffers of Big Business, Big Oil, and the Financial industries. WHO backs the GOP? Big Business? Big Oil? The Financial Industries? The GOP OWNS YOU!

HEY NITWIT -- The Supreme Court said political contributions are free speech and any entity can contribute. And Wall Street has contributed more to The Obozo than any president IN HISTORY!!!

Republicans.. By the corporation, for the corporation and of the corporation. With abomination, deregulation and discrimination for all.. Corporations are people? Social security is a ponzi scheme? Your lazy for not working at an $8 per hour job which is very close to slavery in today’s world.? Don’t tax the wealthy? Pass the programs to the states (so my state taxes can go up) ??? Abolish the FDA and EPA and any other federal program that protects the consumer. Republican Conservative #$%$ BTW DEMS are not much better but at least pretend to protect the consumer. END career politicians. Put your country ahead of politics.

Maybe you don't remember that Obama raised the most money in history to buy his election, including large donors like Goldman-Sachs (over $1,000,000 just from them. Secondly McCain wanted himself and Obama to agree to only take the public funding option in the 2008 campaign but Obama refused. So get your facts straight!

Dear South Carolinians. My fellow southerners, beware wary and be very scared of Yankee Mitt Romney carney salesman of the Bain Capital carpetbagger company. His vulture capitalist job wacking ender resume is NOT 'what' Reagan's pro-business approach was about. Reagan's conservative business philosphy was about creating quality high paying jobs, not acting like Darth Romney and Bain factory busters whom swept down on 200 struggling companies, took their double edge boot knives out and gutted them and their poor fellow Americans of ours...down to their skeletons. Then like the bums that they are, off they go running in the other direction with millions in profits, preying on any company they can gleefully sack.

As a combat veteran, that is robbing the suffering and giving them the middle finger as Lord Romney and his family roll around their many home's palacial beds, luxuring in your hard earned money they hijacked from you. Don't worry about Al Qaeda or being robbed in South Carolina, Florida, Texas or California. Do fear, yes that's right---FEAR Romney Gecko swooping upon your city ripping apart everything you have left.. If he gets in, he'll take away everthing that you and your family hold dear. In Both Iowa and New Hampshire, 60% of the Republican voters voted AGAINST Romneycare man.

South Carolinians and Floridians, your vital voting duty momment is near. It's up to each and every one of you---to stop Romney's scorched earth conservatism. One day he is for abortions, the next day he isn't. One day he tells Ted Kennedy I'm not for Reaganism, but today..he claims he loves Ronald Reagan. Stop this man. Stomp his campaign's dreams into the dusty fields of your beautiful states. This time, pretty...is just too pretty to be true. Good luck and God bless you!!!

I know that Karl is a star of Fox news; and he isn't ACTUALLY fox news, but Karl runs the American Crossroads GOP SuperPAC to give unlimited millions to the GOP. Would YOU; as a fox viewer be willing to give to the GOP? Isn't it nice to know that your favorite news channel pays the guy who pays the GOP? And didn't a bunch of the Candidates work for fox too?

A better question is where is this money coming from?
      Here's a list of romney's top 10 contributors...
      Goldman Sachs $367,200
      Credit Suisse Group $203,750
      Morgan Stanley $199,800
      HIG Capital $186,500
      Barclays $157,750
      Kirkland & Ellis $132,100
      Bank of America $126,500
      PriceWaterhouseCoopers $118,250
      EMC Corp $117,300
      JPMorgan Chase & Co $112,250

Now compare this to obama's top 10 contributors from the previous election...
      University of California $1,648,685
      Goldman Sachs $1,013,091
      Harvard University $878,164
      Microsoft Corp $852,167
      Google Inc $814,540
      JPMorgan Chase & Co $808,799
      Citigroup Inc $736,771
      Time Warner $624,618
      Sidley Austin LLP $600,298
      Stanford University $595,716

      Notice the similarities?

If the average family spends $350 a month on food, this $24 million would feed 68,571 families for a year!

I read these comments and wonder if people are doing their homework or just listening to the same old false slogans. Romney balanced a very out of control budget in MA. He came in and saved the Olympics by cutting the fat and ended up with a surplus but not at the expense of a quality Olympics that the press claimed was the best ever.

I don't see a report on Yahoo News about Obama's upcoming $35,800 per couple fund raising dinner, or that he will have about a billion dollars to spend on campaigning. What is expected in return for contributions to Obama? Maybe the rewards are already in the works.
