Rose Online, by Gravity Corporation (A South Korean gaming company), is a popular free to play Massively Multi Player Online Role Playing Game (MMROPG). There are loads of fun quests and adventurers to take part in with friends on Rose Online. Currently, in recognition of the World Cup, the Rose Online World Cup event is going on and is one players should definitely not miss!
Go to the Canyon City of Zant, near El Verloon Desert. Speak to Judy in the center of town to start on the World Cup quest. She will give you a series of quests to complete, with the reward being a variety of different soccer gear and equipment. For each quest, you will have to collect differing numbers of soccer balls, sometimes as few as 10, or as many as 40, depending on the nature of the prize. Judy will give you a set of scroll to use to capture the soccer balls. To do so, equip your special soccer scrolls in your hotkey area. Then, find a zone with a lot of enemies at your level (green) or slightly higher (yellow). Fight these enemies. Once you kill them, keep an eye on the ground near where they die. Randomly, a soccer ball will appear, bouncing around wildly. Don't bother trying to click and select it. Instead, quickly (The soccer balls will disappear after a few seconds) hit your hot key button for your soccer scroll. Your character will do a super weak AOE that usually (but not always) will "kill" the soccer ball. Check your quest tab periodically to see how many you have successfully collected. Unfortunately, this quest can be quite hard if you do not have AOE attacks. If you do have AOE, use it to capture the soccer balls instead of the scrolls. I suggest doing this, because if you run out of scrolls before capturing the set number of soccer balls, you are are stuck (Judy won't give you any more scrolls!). You can buy scroll in the marketplace at Junon Polis, but they are ridiculously expensive. Try to pair up with a friend who has AOE and doesn't mind giving you some of their scrolls.
This quest can be a little frustrating, because sometimes you will attempt to capture the soccer balls and not succeed, and because the quest(s) can take a long time to complete. Hang in there! The rewards for finishing these quests are really awesome and probably will sell for a lot of Zulie in the marketplace if you choose not to keep them. I have won a custom pair of soccer cleats for Australia, for Spain, a jersey for Australia, two Rose online soccer uniforms, and more. These items have special stats too, so definitely don't overlook this set of quests!
Players can assume the role of several "visitors" to the game world of Rose Online, and then choose separate career paths to advance upon. Players must first reach level 10 (usually only takes an hour or so) before they can specialize in such careers. The zone newbie players start in is known as Adventurer's Plains, and offers a wide variety of monsters, some quite comical (reflecting the casual nature of the game), to hunt and fight. Beware of getting swarmed by the caterpillars, especially if you are not with a group of players to help protect you! Check out Rose Online at http://www.roseonlinegame.com today!
