We have got our hands on undisguised images of the Suzuki SX4 S-Cross facelift, which will be launched in Europe soon. The spy pictures are from a dealer presentation in Europe and show comprehensive updates on the new model that is also sold in India.

The cosmetic changes include new headlamp console, revised grille with vertical slats, aggressive new bumper and creases on the bonnet. The new look will attempt to bring the S-Cross, the SUVish image, rather than the crossover that it is identified as. The new car will also have better ground clearance than the current model.

There are a few changes inside as well. From the image it seems that the instrument cluster, the dashboard and the music system of the SX4 S-Sross have been refreshed. The car will continue to use the 1.6-litre diesel engine in Europe with the six-speed manual transmission. Additionally, it will now be offered with the new 1.0-litre BOOSTERJET turbocharged petrol engine, which was showcased at the Auto Expo.

The S-Cross hasn’t done too well in India and the chances of this update being brought to India, any time soon is bleak. It may be introduced in India someime next year with the hope that SUVish styling will work in its favour.
