Manufacturing output mixed in March

LONDON (AFP) - Manufactured production fell by 0.5 percent in March from the February level, but climbed by 0.6 percent on a 12-month basis, the Office for National Statistics said on Wednesday.

The ONS added that a wider measure of industrial production, which includes mining, quarrying and energy, also fell by 0.5 percent in March from the February figure. Over 12 months, it grew by 0.2 percent.
