Report of video of woman's fall doesn't satisfy mother

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. – A video may have shown that Mindy Jordan was alone just before she fell from the balcony of a cruise ship. But her mother says she still wants authorities to continue looking into what happened.

Jordan, of Pine Hill, fell into the Atlantic Ocean from a balcony of Norwegian Dawn on Sunday night, about two hours after boarding the Bermuda-bound vessel with her boyfriend.

Miami-based Norwegian Cruise Line says surveillance video shows that Jordan was alone in their room from 7:36 p.m. until 7:53 p.m., when a camera caught her falling from the balcony.

Jordan's mother, Louise Horton, of Bordentown, says the video might not show enough to determine why she fell.

Horton says she has declined the cruise line's offer to fly her to Bermuda to see the video and pick up her daughter's belongings. She says she's asked for the video to be sent to her.

The FBI is investigating the fall.
