As expected, Chris Matthews explained last night's "Oh God" moment on "Hardball," mentioning his surprise at the set-up for Bobby Jindal's response in the Louisiana Governor's mansion.
There, Matthews noted how Jindal was "walking from somewhere in the back of this narrow hall, this winding staircase looming there, the odd antebellum look of the scene...."
"What was the message in all this?" Matthews asked.
Also on "Hardball" today, Tom DeLay joked with Matthews about his words while the mic was hot, and the MSNBC host didn't look pleased.
"Listening to your introduction," DeLay said, "somebody's going to accuse you of being biased."
