Leah was one of 20 semi-finalists and her original t-shirt design “Live the life in Paris” was selected as the winner by celebrity judges Keke Palmer and Ashley Argota, the stars of the hit Nickelodeon Show True Jackson, VP.
Leah first learned she had won when Ashley Argota personally called to congratulate her from the set of True Jackson, VP. As the winner of The Ultimate Fashion Contest presented by Twist, the 13 year old teenager from Dayton, Ohio wins the title of Featured Designer for Established Today’s 2009 Holiday Collection that will feature her own line of digital designs along with:

An appearance in a future issue of Twist magazine to kick off her own line to the 1 million + readers of the magazine.

Autographed copy of the winning T-shirt design and autographed photo from Keke Palmer and Ashley Argota.
The Ultimate Fashion Contest presented by Twist was an online fashion design contest that ran from August 3 to October 1, 2009 at www.estToday.com. Considered the largest online fashion design contest to date, the contest was promoted by the sponsor Twist magazine to their millions of monthly visitors to the www.twistmagazine.com website. The contest had over 5,600 original design entries and over 50,000 votes cast for these entries by girls across the US. Girls were encouraged to post their original t-shirt designs across all of their Social Networking Sites (Facebook, Twitter) to encourage family and friends to vote for them. Leah’s winning t-shirt design “Live the life in Paris” will be available for all girls around the country to buy on a limited edition basis at www.estToday.com.

About Keke Palmer
In addition to Palmer’s first starring role on television in Nickelodeon’s new series, True Jackson, VP, she was recently seen starring opposite Kevin Spacey and Robin Williams in the film Shrink.
