This time Richard Bangs Adventures explores the most extreme country on the planet, Australia. For this expedition, we venture with photographer Jonathan Chester back to his home country, where he honed his skills as both explorer and photographer of the extreme. Come along as we discover the colorful characters of Down Under in their native landscapes, their labors and legends, in this week-long quest for adventure in Australia Extreme.

Day 1: Jackaroos and Kangaroos in Oz
On the first day of our Australia adventure, the team heads out to a 1.5 million-acre working cattle station deep in the Outback of North Queensland, 130 kilometers from the nearest pub.  There the team meets Australia's jackaroos, who use motorbikes, quads (ATVs) and helicopters to round up cattle.  Join Richard Bangs Adventures as we hop aboard one of these mustering ‘copters with a pilot with dreams of stardom, an extreme adventure in its own right. Read Day 1 of Australia Extreme.

Day 2: Staying Upright Down Under
On day two of our extreme Auzzie adventure, we raft with John McCrossin, river guide and extreme heli-rafter on the North Johnstone River.  We join "Johnny Mac" as he makes his first attempt in eight years of the river's "Mineshaft," a treacherous stretch of river falls comparable to "riding the back of a rampaging rhino." Join the team on the river on Day 2 of Australia Extreme.

Day 3: Croc Catchers of Cairns
There are all sorts of jobs, but catching crocodiles has got to be one of the most extreme. We meet a couple of these brave souls, David Layton and Clayton Enoch, who brave confrontation with the largest crocs in the world. And we go bungee jumping where it all began in Australia, at A.J. Hackett's in Cairns. Join the team on the ropes for Day 3 of Australia Extreme.

Day 4: The Sharks Above, the Mud Below
Although the rate of shark attacks has gone up in recent years, on Day 4 of Extreme Australia Richard and team don wetsuits and swim with the fiercely-fanged fish, learning the do's and definitely don'ts of swimming with the sharks. Dive into the adventure on Day 4 of Australia Extreme.
