Top story overnight: The Organization of American States ordered Honduran coup leaders to restore deposed President Manuel Zelaya to power within three days, or risk being suspended from the group. In response to this ultimatum, interim leader Roberto Micheletti told The Associated Press "no one can make me resign," and warned that the only way his predecessor will return to power is through a foreign invasion.

In other news: A black box from yesterday's Yemeni plane crash was found, The AP reported. The jet, which was carrying 153 people, crashed into the Indian Ocean early Tuesday while attempting to land in the Comoros Islands. The 14-year-old girl who was the only known survivor is said to be "doing well." Earlier reports had described her as both a toddler and a 5-year-old child.

The California Senate failed to break a deadlock and pass the state's $24.3 billion budget last night, The AP reported. State Controller John Chiang has previously announced that he would have to start issuing roughly $3 billion worth of IOUs unless a compromise on closing the deficit was reached.

Grocers all over the country have pulled ground beef from their meat departments after a possible E. coli contamination was reported at the JBS Swift Beef Co. The FDA said 24 illness reports in multiple states  prompted Swift to re-examine its food safety system and issue a voluntary recall. Dunkin' Donuts has also decided to stop selling hot chocolate and Dunkaccino drinks after learning equipment used at the supplier's facility may have been contaminated with salmonella. Most-read stories overnight: Readers were interested in this Reuters article about Citigroup. The financial conglomerate reportedly raised the interest rates on up to 15 million U.S. credit card accounts in the months before curbs on such increases went into effect. "We have adjusted pricing and card terms for some customers as part of our regular account reviews," Citigroup stated. "This is an ongoing process to ensure we offer terms, interest rates, credit lines and products based on individual needs and risk profiles."

This AP story also captured readers' attention overnight. According to The Johnson City Press in Tennessee, a boy was arrested over the weekend for allegedly stealing medical supplies out of the back of an ambulance while paramedics were treating his mother. The boy was also accused of taking a purse from one of the rescue workers, and breaking into a car. He was later charged with theft over $1,000 and sent to juvenile detention.

Looking ahead: President Barack Obama will hold a discussion on health care in an online town hall today. The Justice Department is slated to release an internal CIA report on the agency's secret detention and interrogation program that was used during the Bush administration. Finally, Michael Jackson's will is expected to be filed in court today.

Yesterday's poll: What do you consider the safest mode of travel? Despite recent crashes, 40 percent of respondents chose airplanes. Eighteen percent selected cars and 17 percent opted for trains.
