Saskatchewan Roughriders defensive end Willis in legal trouble south of border

REGINA - Defensive end Odell Willis of the Saskatchewan Roughriders is in some legal hot water.

The CFL club announced Thursday that Willis was arrested Sunday with one count of driving under the influence in Atlanta.

"We have spoken with Odell and are gathering as much information as possible into the incident," Riders GM Brendan Taman said in a statement. "Odell and the Roughrider organization are taking this matter very seriously and we won't comment any further until the legal process has run its course."

The Riders acquired Willis from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on March 22. Willis finished last season tied for the CFL lead in sacks with 13.
