‘Saturday Night Live’ Ratings Slip With Host Amy Schumer, Up Versus Last Year

Saturday Night Live with host Amy Schumer and musical guest The Weekend + Nicki Minaj last night drew a 3.9 household rating in the metered markets and a 1.9 among adults 18-49 in the local people meters. That was down -13% in HH and -5% in 18-49 from last week’s season premiere hosted by Miley Cyrus. Vs. last season’s second episode which, like last night’s outing, was hosted by a racy female comedian, Sarah Silverman, SNL was up a tad, +3% in HH and +6% in 18-49. SNL is solid DVR gainer, adding an average of +44% from Live+same day to Live+7 ratings.
