Seth Meyers may be "Saturday Night Live's" head writer and "Weekend Update" anchor, but the esteemed funnyman - who initially joined the late night sketch show in 2001 -- said his comedy skills are dull when compared to guest host Justin Timberlake.

"Timberlake is so good. I pale in comparison to him," Seth, 37, told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview posted on Saturday. "It's like a butter knife next to a Swiss Army knife."

In addition to his respect for JT's talent, Seth had high praise for his former "Weekend Update" co-anchor, Amy Poehler -- who currently stars in NBC's hit, "Parks and Recreation."

"[Amy] was my closest friend on the show, and she steers the ship very well," he told the mag. "I miss arguing with her -- we both come from arguing backgrounds. She's one of the great all-time arguers."

As for his favorite "SNL" moment of the past season, two characters got Seth's vote.

"When Dana Carvey came back, and we did 'Wayne's World,'" Seth answered, when asked to reveal his favorite Season 36 moment. "It was fascinating to see how the audience reacted. And this year, Bill Hader's character Stefan got the same reaction.

"You could see people grabbing the person next to them like, 'Oh, my God, we're at 'Saturday Night Live' on a night when Stefan is here!'" he added.
