Save a Fortune By Buying One of These New Phones Instead of a Galaxy S6 or iPhone
AT&T’s lineup of affordable smartphones expanded on Friday with the unveiling of the ZTE Maven. This $59.99 device comes equipped with 4G LTE wireless service, Android 5.1 and, best of all, doesn’t require an annual commitment. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a cheaper phone with better specs from any of the major service providers.

Speaking of specifications, the Maven also features a 4.5-inch, relatively low resolution 854 x 480 display, 1.2 GHz Qualcomm quad-core processor, 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, VGA front-facing camera, 2100mAh battery and 8GB of internal memory, expandable up to 32GB with microSD card support.
You can activate the device through AT&T on any new or existing GoPhone account. It’s available today from AT&T’s website and in retail stores nationwide.
The company also announced the ZTE Sonata 2, a handset now available from Cricket Wireless for $29.99 with a phone line activation or an eligible upgrade. This sequel phone features a 4-inch display, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 5-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera, 32GB of expandable storage and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.
The Sonata 2 is already up on Cricket’s online store. If you’re in the market for a new phone but don’t want to break the bank, it might be worth looking into ZTE’s new offerings.
