Twitter especially was abuzz with hashtags like #ThankYouSteve and #RIPSteve filling streams in remembrance of Jobs and his contribution to technology. We are seeing celebrities and public figures of all types sending out their condolences, memories and thank-yous to a man who pioneered technology as we know it today. From actors and musicians to the president of the United States, Steve Jobs touched many lives with his brilliance. It is a sad day for all of us who will miss his talents but he lives on in the technology we have now and will have in future generations.
