New schematic leak reveals one more detail about the iPhone 6

With just a few weeks to go until the iPhone 6 finally becomes official, the leaks are in full bloom, as more details about the handset hit the web each day. Apple.club.tw, a site that posted several iPhone 6 leaks recently, is back with an alleged schematic for the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 that suggests the phone’s main camera may have a slightly protruding camera ring.

Previous reports have danced around this particular camera feature and have disagreed on whether the iPhone 6 will have a protruding camera or not, and this schematic says the 4.7-inch camera ring will measure less than 1mm, or between 0.67mm and 0.77mm.

The iPhone 6 is expected to measure between 6mm and 7mm, depending on what reports you believe.

The leaked image also reveals the 4.7-inch iPhone 6’s internal codename is N56, with MacRumors saying the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 model is known as N61.

Recent iPhone 6 leaks have revealed various details about the handset, including potential NFC support, LTE modem type, an assembled rear shell and front panel, but also potential screen resolution.

However, Apple is yet to confirm any of them, but the company will reveal everything there is to know about the iPhone 6 at its upcoming announcement event set to take place on September 9.

The leaked schematic follows below.
