    Scientific Reason for the Ashton and Demi Breakup According to a Cougar Dating Study Conducted by WhatsYourPrice.com

    If you could plot the value of a female Cougar and a male Cub over time, what would you get? The answer to why Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher got together in the first place back in 2003, and why they may be headed for a breakup today. The Cougar dating study conducted by online dating website WhatsYourPrice.com shows Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher’s values were very similar back in 2003 – both valued at approximate $70. However, as they age, Demi’s value has been gradually declining while Ashton’s value has been sharply rising. There is a gap in their value today of about $101 in Ashton’s favor, providing the scientific reason why Demi and Ashton are headed for a breakup, and why most older female and younger male couples are more likely to fail than older male and younger female couples.

    WhatsYourPrice.com, the first and only online website where first dates are bought and sold, published the results of a dating study on Cougar and Cub couplings. The study provided the scientific explanation as to why Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are headed for a breakup, and why most Cougar and Cub relationships are likely to fail.

    The average price of over 180,000 first date offers made to attractive men and attractive women were calculated according to their ages. The average price was then plotted against age to derive the Cougar Value Curve and the Cub Value Curve, which shows the value of an attractive man and an attractive woman through the passage of time.

    As part of the study, a survey was conducted where over 40,000 men were asked what factors affect their preferences for dating Cougars. Results of the survey reveal the following: 89% says it’s because Cougars are more sexually experienced, 72% says it’s because Cougars can pay for the date, and 58% says it’s because Cougars come with less strings attached and are less drama.

    “Ashton and Demi met in 2003 when he was 25 and she was 40”, says Brandon Wade, a leading dating expert and Founder of WhatsYourPrice.com who holds a BS degree and an MBA degree from MIT. “According to our Cougar and Cub Value Curves, both were valued very closely, which explains why the coupling happened when it did.”

    According to the study, the perceived value of attractive females peak at approximately $166 when she reaches the age of 25. By the time she becomes a Cougar, which is generally defined as an attractive woman over the age of 30, her value is on the decline, losing as much as $4.25 each year she ages. The study also finds that the value of an attractive male peaks when he reaches the age of 34.    

    “As Demi ages, her value has been in a gradual decline while Ashton’s value is quickly reaching its peak,” says Wade. “The $101 value gap that exists between the couple today explains why their relationship is on the rocks, and why Ashton may prefer to bond with 23 year old Sara Leal who is valued at a number closer to his. Although many younger men are interested in older women, chances are it won’t last.”
