Scans and updates: Once you have it set up, this app scans your computer on a regular basis to determine if there are any updates available for any of your programs. If you opt for Automatic Updates, the app will automatically install any updates it finds. You can also choose to have Secunia download updates but wait for you to install them manually, or you can just receive notifications when updates are available and take care of the rest yourself.
View options: There are two ways to view the programs on your computer through this app. In the Basic view, all you'll see are program icons with a mark to show whether they're up to date or not. If you'd like some more information, you can opt for the detailed view, which includes data like the program version number, whether or not it's a secure version, and how critical it is, as well as its update status.
