See an Artist's Rendering of What J.K. Rowling's International Wizarding Schools Would Look Like

Ever wondered what a student at an African wizarding school would look like?

You probably hadn't – not until last week, anyway, when Harry Potter mastermind J.K. Rowling revealed the location of four more international schools of wizardry in the Harry Potter universe.

The American school for witchcraft and wizardry, Ilvermorny, joins Hogwarts, France's Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and the possibly Swedish or Norwegian Durmstrang Institute. Also mentioned in Rowling's announcement: Brazil's Castelobruxo, Japan's Mahoutokoro and Africa's Uagadou.

Of course Potter fans the world over freaked out, and some did so in different ways: Artist Michael Nozich sketched out what he thought some of the students at the different schools would look like and posted the renderings on Obsev.com.

Be sure to check out the full post here and take a look at the rest of Nozinich's work, which – among other things – includes a series in which Taylor Swift's squad gets re-imagined as a series of superheroes. Then join us all in breathless anticipation of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which will be released this fall.
