    Originally launched in 2005, Seventy Seven Diamonds set out to be the forefront of the diamond market by being one of the most innovative online diamond companies to sell loose and set diamond jewellery in the UK. Following on from their huge success selling white diamonds online, the expansion into coloured diamonds is a natural response to the popular demand of coloured stones in fine jewellery.

    Available in several hundred colours due to the large number of hues and shades caused by nature. These colours are generated by a range of tiny particles inside the diamond: blue is caused by boron, yellow by nitrogen, while many other colours like brown and caused by lattice defects. The intensity of the colour of the diamonds are graded from a range starting at fancy light through to fancy vivid at the top. If the diamond is combined with a very rare colour, the diamond becomes a true trophy asset to collectors.
