    SF Custom Chiropractic Promotes Multi Radiance Laser Therapy for Arthritis Treatment in Honor of Juvenile Arthritis Month

    Osteoarthritis is an extremely common disease in the United States, effecting nearly 27 million people. Arthritis is caused by a loss or reduction of cartilage in a joint, which causes the bones to rub together. This lack of cartilage can cause severe pain and irritation, inflammation, and loss of mobility. Osteoarthritis is most common in weight bearing joints such as hips, knees, and ankles, but can also occur in many other joints do to genetics, injury, or overuse. Treatment of arthritis is limited to pain reduction and slowing of degradation. Chiropractic care,Active Release Technique and laser therapy are all techniques used by Dr. Adam Jacobs at SF Custom Chiropractic to help patients suffering from arthritis.


    The month of July has been established as National Juvenile Arthritis Month, and SF Custom Chiropractic is hoping to make their contribution by offering free initial consultations and laser therapy treatment for patients suffering from arthritis. Juvenile Arthritis refers to any arthritis condition that develops in a child or teen under 18 years old. This could be characterized by the same osteoarthritic symptoms that develop in adults, which challenges the notion that arthritis is an age–related disease. It is also common for children to have Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis (JRA), which is an autoimmune disease. SF Custom Chiropractic uses a Multi Radiance Laser to help minimize the symptoms of many different types of arthritis for patients of every age.


    The Multi Radiance Laser helps with rapid cell growth, increasing healing time, reducing scar tissue, reducing inflammation, and increasing blood flow. Another added benefit of laser therapy is that it is characterized as a drug-free, non-invasive form of treatment that can be used to treat both acute and chronic pain. All of these functions are very helpful in the reduction of pain associated with arthritis. In addition to offering the laser treatment,Dr. Adam Jacobs is offering a chiropractic consultation. Chiropractic care is can be used as a preventative treatment for injury and arthritis. SF Custom Chiropractic hopes to help prevent arthritis as well as monitor and control symptoms for arthritis suffering patients of all ages.
