‘Shades Of Blue’ Casts Newcomer Hampton Fluker As Series Regular

EXCLUSIVE: Newcomer Hampton Fluker has landed a regular role opposite Jennifer Lopez on Shades Of Blue, NBC’s straight-to-series drama directed by Barry Levinson. The series follows a tight-knit crew of police officers who are effective at keeping the streets safe but also corrupt when it comes to lining their pockets and protecting their own. When one of the officers (Lopez) is forced to become a federal informant, she must decide between her own family’s welfare and that of her police family.

Fluker will play Patrick Tufo, the precinct’s confident playboy whose sexual exploits often get him into trouble. He is repped by Gersh and Door 24.

Adi Hasak wrote the pilot. Also executive producing the series are Jack Orman — who serves as showrunner — Hasak, Lopez, Levinson, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, Benny Medina, Ryan Seacrest and Nina Wass. Levinson is an EP on the pilot. Universal TV is the studio, producing with Nuyorican Prods., Ryan Seacrest Productions, Medina & Co. and EGTV.
