Amazon’s revolutionary e-reader allows for people and businesses to self-publish and Shower-Pumps has taken full advantage of this with the release of their own e-book. The Kindle Shower Pump book, "Shower Pumps: A Beginners Guide", is available to preview and buy on Amazon now.
Scott Morris, Marketing Manager at Shower-Pumps, said: “Amazon’s Kindle e-reader has been a massive success and we’re really pleased to be releasing this book for it. By allowing people to self-publish their own works for the device, the Kindle is paving new roads into publishing and that’s why we’ve got into it. The ins and outs of shower pumps are not widely known and that’s why we’ve made this book available on Kindle, we have a vast amount of knowledge to share.”
The digital book by Shower-Pumps, entitled Shower Pumps: A Beginners Guide, is packed full of information on shower pumps, making them easier for beginners to understand.
James Hickman, Managing Director of Shower-Pumps, said: “We sell a variety of shower pumps but we’re aware that not everyone knows what they do. By releasing this book on the Kindle we’re doing what we can to provide more information on shower pumps and their uses. We think this will not only benefit potential customers but also our business, as if more people know about shower pumps they’re more likely to buy one. This Kindle has been put together by our experts and is available for people to download to their Kindle through Amazon.”
Already a hit and with a number of downloads, the release of this digital book is just another example of how Shower-Pumps is striving to extend the service it provides to customers.
Scott Morris added: “We hope that this Kindle book will make shower pumps easier to understand for everyone. We’ve already had great feedback from experts who agree that this book would be fantastic for beginners and those who have no experience of shower pumps or plumbing. We think the book is great but if people aren’t sure they can preview it on Amazon.”
The aim of the Kindle book is to inform and enlighten anyone with an interest in shower pumps, explaining what they are and why a person might need one. It tries to stay brand neutral, but obviously there are some big names in the region of shower pumps. Therefore, people will more likely know a Salamander pump as opposed to a Techflow one.
Shower Pumps has been part of the Plumbworld Network since launching in 2010. This year it continues to make its mark on the online plumbing and shower market. Plumbworld was an early pioneer of online trading, started by James and Anita Hickman in 1999 and was sold to the Grafton Group PLC in December 2006, Plumbworld now employs more than 50 people in its purpose built warehouse and offices and boasts an astonishing 50 websites selling everything from a bathroom vanity unit and woodburning stoves to garden watering tools & barbecues. The business has a turnover in excess of £18 million and is growing at more than 20% year on year.
