All signs point to a mid-November release for GTA V on PS4, Xbox One and PC

Now that we know for sure that Grand Theft Auto V is still on track to be released for the PS4, Xbox One and PC this fall, all that’s left for Rockstar Games to announce is the release date. There have been a few hints about the exact date the game would be released in the past, but after several online retailers temporarily listed the same date this week, the puzzle pieces are beginning to fall into place.

Earlier this summer, Danish retailer Coolshop accidentally changed the December 31st, 2014 release date of Grand Theft Auto V (a typical placeholder for any game without a firm release date) to November 14th before swiftly correcting its mistake. Now Exertis Gem and Littlewoods, two UK retailers, have made the same mistake, according to a few crafty NeoGAF users.

European game releases typically fall on Fridays, which gives even more credence to the November 14th date. This also further validates a similar mishap, noted by VG247, on Newegg’s website which claimed that Grand Theft Auto V would be available in the U.S. on November 18th, the following Tuesday.

Unless the game suffers a last-minute delay, it seems safe to assume that the upgraded GTA V will be available to purchase on Friday, November 14th in Europe and on Tuesday, November 18th in the U.S.
