    SIGVARIS attends Disney’s Fit for a Princess Expo to educate race participants about the health benefits of graduated compression and about the dangers of DVT for high-endurance athletes.

    SIGVARIS is excited about hosting a booth at Disney’s Fit for a Princess Expo on Feb. 24-25 at the Jostens Center located at the ESPN Wide World of Sports at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. The Expo is part of Disney’s Princess Half Marathon event that takes place the same weekend.

    The fitness expo is a two-day event designed to celebrate women. The event features seminars on training, health, fitness, racing and nutrition. SIGVARIS will be at the event sharing information about the benefits of graduated compression, as well as general knowledge about how compression socks for everyday use may help prevent chronic venous disorders.

    At SIGVARIS’ booth, runners will have an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the health benefits associated with wearing true graduated compression socks, including how their wear during travel can help prevent a Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT); a high-risk among high-endurance athletes. Participants will also be able to enter to win a pair of SIGVARIS Athletic Recovery Socks.

    On Feb. 25, those that stop by the booth will also have an opportunity to meet and take photos with running inspiration, David O’Meara, The One Mile Runner.
