    A report released this week by Janus Corporate Solutions offers data supporting the assertion that Singapore is the easiest place to do business in the world, and is in many ways superior to Denmark, which was recently ranked higher by Forbes magazine in its ‘2011 Best Countries for Business’ feature.

    The new report confirms Singapore’s #1 position in the world for ‘ease of doing business’ for the past six years in the World Bank’s ‘Doing Business’ annual survey, and also provides an illuminating analysis of each country’s attributes.

    The report takes into consideration a number of factors including the protection of intellectual property, global competitiveness, taxes, the efficiencies of the Singapore company incorporation processes, and each country’s overall business environment.

    “Upon closer review of the evidence and data available for each, it becomes easy to understand why Singapore is a better choice for business,” said Ms. Jacqueline Low, Director of Singapore company registration firm Janus Corporate Solutions. The World Bank’s ‘Doing Business’ report released in November 2011 named Singapore the ‘best business environment in the world’.
