Smash Bros. Wii U Features Stage Creator and Board Game Mode, Listing Claims

Just like 2008's Super Smash Bros. Brawl for Wii, November's Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will allow players to create their own stages. That's according to a list of game features from its Amazon product page, which also reveals the title will have a "board game" mode.

Here's the Amazon description (with emphasis added):

"Whether you're creating stages on the GamePad, competing in challenges crafted by Master Hand and Crazy Hand, or outwitting your opponents in a brand new board game mode, there's no doubt that the ultimate Smash Bros. game has arrived."

We have reached out to Nintendo for comment, and will update this post with anything we hear back.

This leak comes just days after Super Smash Bros. director Masahiro Sakurai teased that the game is getting two new single-player modes.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U launches November 21 in North America and December 5 in Europe. The console version follows the 3DS iteration, which has already sold over 2.8 million copies worldwide.
