FeedMagnet New Year’s Screen Combined Social Updates, Check-ins, Photos in Times Square

The display filtered social content that mentioned New Year’s, Times Square, or the sponsor’s brand, and removed anything inappropriate or irrelevant using FeedMagnet’s curation software.

FeedMagnet processed over 4,000 social interactions over a 12 hour period and brought them to life as quotes, photo montages, avatars, and statistics on the prominent MTV 44½ screen in the center of Times Square.
"The social visualizer was on screen for over 270 minutes over the course of the busiest day in Times Square as more than 1.1 million people attended the celebration," MTV 44½ Manager of digital out of home display Bridget Riley said. "It was the most dynamic user-generated, social-powered display that night."
