    Softball Power Drive Partners with Jillian Callaway at 5 Star Athletics

    Softball Power Drive today announced their affiliation with Jillian Callaway to produce additional training video to help softball players develop more skills on the diamond. “We are proud to team up with Jillian Callaway, former University of Maryland Pitching Coach, Verizon All-Academic 2nd team, professional trainer and founder of 5 Star Athletics in College Park, Maryland, said, John Miller, president, of Pitchers Power Drive(TM).

    Jillian has a great knowledge of softball skills and what works in helping develop players to their highest individual potential, said Miller. Her organization 5 Star Athletics believes there is NO off-season. 5 Star is committed to elevating the female athlete to an elite level of Fastpitch softball. Miller added “this passion and dedication is a great fit with Sports Power Drive and our Winning Pitchers Training Academy which both has the same player development focused culture. Jillian is deeply passionate about softball and loves teaching young players the skills necessary for success on the diamond. We are both small companies of trainers with the same teaching passion to help young players advance, Miller added.

    Jillian decided to use the Softball Power Drives as training aids at pitching and hitting stations in camps and clinics and during individual lessons. The multisensory click feedback from the Softball Power Drive allows the players to hear and feel that they are doing the practice drills correctly.

    Jillian will work with Miller to capture their training process on video. This video will be added to the Softball Power Drive owner’s training web site to help players learn and improve their performance. Miller said “the power of a web base training site is to allow continuous learning with the capability of adding new drills and workouts at any time. The Softball Power Drive training site adds quarterly training updates by professional trainers and college coaches at no cost to their owners. Miller added “continuous learning with updated training allows dedicated players to advance their skills from professional instructors like Jillian.

    The Softball Power Drive was introduced this past December and already there are over 65 colleges using the training aid. The Professional / Collegiate Model, is both a pitching and hitting training aid designed to help softball players achieve maximum power and velocity from using their stronger lower body muscles.
