    Sonoma County's Boutique Winery, Starlite Vineyards, Presents Their 2010 Viognier Wine and Celebrates California Wine Month.

    Sonoma County's Starlite Vineyards, located in the town of Geyserville, announces the release of their 2010 Viognier and the celebration of California Wine Month during the month of September.

    Starlite Vineyards is an ultra-premium producer of hand crafted wines. It is the ultimate boutique winery and has become a popular stop for Sonoma Wine Tours and wine enthusiasts. Starlite Vineyards offers an elegant and impressionable wine tasting for a weekend getaway. They are now introducing the 2010 Viognier, which is featured at some of the top restaurants throughout the United States including Jardinière and Spruce (San Francisco) and Restaurant Daniel and L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon (New York City).

    "Our Viognier is ‘Condrieu’ in style and exudes scents of orange blossom and honeysuckle along with layers of apricot, peaches and nectarine and a backbone of mineral flavors including grapefruit," said ArmanPahlavan of Starlite Vineyards. “The wine is deliciously ripe and fruitful, yet surprisingly dry and full-bodied with a luscious mouth-feel. The finish is moderately long, refreshing and crisp with a burst of acidity and subtle minerality which accentuates the varietal."

    Offering the fruit forward and aromatic wines from a premium Sonoma County estate since 2003, Starlite Vineyards has evolved into a hub for those near and far. They strive to harvest fruit of the highest quality. The vineyards stretch through three blocks committed to growing highest quality Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon and Viognier. The Zinfandel is “claret in style” and the Cabernet Sauvignon is “Bordeaux” in style with undeniable California fruit.

    Starlite Vineyards is also celebrating California Wine Month with the Wine & Art series during weekends in September. The winery will be presenting the older vintages of the wines throughout the month of September and will have exhibition of masters of contemporary fine art at the tasting room, some of which appear on their wine labels. Guests at the Winery will get an educational wine tasting with the owners and a tour of their fine art collection along with their artistic collaborations.


    "In honor of California Wine Month, the winery will be holding its Early Music Series in October 2011 with performances by the alumni and students of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Musical instruments featured in the program will include performances of the baroque Viola da Gamba with Soprano vocal accompaniments.
