South Africa's Eskom to have first Medupi unit operating by Q1 2015

JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - South African power utility Eskom will have the first unit of its Medupi power plant operating by the first quarter of 2015, acting chief executive Collin Matjila said on Thursday. "Medupi's Unit 6 is on track for synchronisation by December 2014, with full commercial operation in the first quarter of 2015," Matjila told reporters in Johannesburg
