South Africa's rand softer against firmer dollar

JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - South Africa's rand was slightly weaker against the greenback on Tuesday, mainly reflecting dollar strength after an upbeat U.S. manufacturing report. * Rand at 13.6700 to the dollar by 0652 GMT, down 0.55 percent from Monday's close at 13.5950. * Yield on 2026 benchmark government bond dips 1.5 basis points to 8.57 percent. * Blue chip futures index inches up just 0.02 percent, signalling flat start for stock market at 0700 GMT.
