    Specialized Fitness Resources To Supply Sports Surfacing At Florida Marlins Stadium in Miami

    Specialized Fitness Resources, a leading supplier of sports flooring in and around Miami, wins the bid to supply sports surfacing at Marlins Stadium. It will supply its Ecore’s Everlast sport surfacing product for both home and visiting team locker rooms.

    Specialized Fitness Resources receives the bid to supply sports surfacing at Florida Marlins Stadium in mid-August. It plans to provide both home and visiting team locker rooms with its specialized sports surfacing. Specialized Fitness Resources is a leading supplier of sports flooring for a variety of fitness environments, including at-home gyms, aerobic floors, garage flooring, and playgrounds.

    The locker room flooring for both home and visiting teams is made with Ecore’s Everlast sports surfacing containing Nike Grind. Nike Grind flooring salvages used and donated Nike tennis shoes, turning the rubber into granules for new sports surfacing.

    The Marlins Stadium ballpark built on 928,000 square feet on the former Orange Bowl site in the Little Havana section of Miami, celebrates its opening day in April, 2012. The ballpark has a retractable roof, a natural grass playing field, and 37,000 seats. The sports surfacing installation is custom made to match the Florida Marlin team colors.
