    Splurge or Save: Hot Looks For Cold Weather

    Temperatures have been all over the map this winter - up and down every week, even every day. So your look has to be ready to adapt to cold and warm weather, all while looking hot.

    Dressing in layers means more clothes, but it doesn't mean your budget has to go bust for you to stay warm.

    You can pair inexpensive basics with one, big splurge piece, or make a swap for the splurge by choosing budget-friendly trades that are stylish at a fraction of the cost.

      Congratulations on the singularly most USELESS article. I just saw this segment on GMA and I can't believe that you would even so much as show REAL FUR items on your show as an option, and in this economy? WHO could afford a $500 pair of boots???? Anyone with enough money to spend that kind of cash on any of your "splurge items" could not care less about the price of gloves. GET REAL!!!!! FUR IS STILL NOT OK!!! AND WE'RE BROKE!!!

      Fur? Really? Lame. Fur is dead, inhumane, and ugly in fashion. Fur isn't green and it doesn't keep people as warm as synthetics. How many mountain climbers wear fur? Come on GMA get it together! Make compassion the fashion.

      How can GMA ooh and ahh over Jack Hanna's animals and then promote clothes made from dead animals? Hypocritical, tacky and highly insensitive. Why not splurge on some better material and save the animals? Poor Lara looked very uncomfortable, and she should have been.

      FUR?? I agree with all who have posted about GMA's presentation of fur ... Just when you think people are getting it and moving away from the use of fur, a show like yours, seen by millions of people, is promoting furs. perhaps next week you should show the carcasses of all the dead animals it took for 'fashion'. shame on the producers.

      I think the very annoying PETA must have notified all of their fans ... really?? ALL of the comments about fur? It didn't even seem like the presenter knew what was going to be shown... she figured the fur scarf was fake probably because she was HOPING it was.
