    Sports Celebrity Warren Sapp Brings His Twitter 'Mean Machine' To Pax Stereo Tv & NeoUrban Internet Television

    Super Bowl Champion Warren Sapp is the recipient of the Excellence in Social Media Award (Sports Category) for 2012 at the 4th Annual Gravity Summit and is scheduled to appear on Pax Stereo Tv’s “Morning Coffee With Mario" show on Monday, February 20th. He is expected to bring his army of over 700,000 twitter friends with him marking his emergence as a new leader in the online "NeoUrban" internet community.

    When sports icon and NFL commentator Warren Sapp comes to visit, he truly brings the party. The party however this time is virtual, and consists of his over 700,000 twitter fans. "Twitter is a way for me to get out and talk about things that I'm interested in, food, travel, sports, whatever” says the former member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders in a recent radio interview, "with twitter I get a one on one conversation, almost a personal touching of the fans, and I like it that way. In town this week to accept an award for Excellence In Social Media, he is taking time out to visit Pax Stereo (http://www.paxstereo.tv), one of internet television’s true pioneers, and will be a featured guest on the “Morning Coffee With Mario” show. Fans and followers of the show are excited and quick to point out what an opportunity this is, an opportunity arranged by Mark Francis, Sports Marketing Consultant, and a recognized expert in social media. For Pax Stereo CEO Mario Hemsley it is a rare moment of validation. “When a sports icon as recognizable as Warren Sapp takes the time out to visit an independent internet television network like us, it confirms the legitimacy of our role."     Besides his huge (and growing) twitter following, Warren has ongoing broadcasting gigs with the NFL Network and Showtime, and is also enjoying success with his “QBKilla” brand. To many, his recent successes come as no surprise, and after a distinguished football career, many say Warren Sapp is headed for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He spent nine seasons with the Buccaneers where he earned seven trips to the Pro Bowl and a Super Bowl ring in 2002. He is currently an analyst on the NFL Network where he is featured on "NFL Total Access" and "NFL Game Day Morning". Sapp came in 2nd place on Season 7 of "Dancing With The Stars".
