Spot Celebs in Flight Safety Video, Win a Trip [EXCLUSIVE]

Air New Zealand's flight safety videos have featured celebrities in some of the silliest scenarios, but this time the company wants to try a different approach: animation.

The new video brings a typical inflight safety pamphlet to life, explained by the animated versions of Modern Family's Ed O'Neill and Melanie Lynskey, from Up in the Air and Two and a Half Men.

Air New Zealand's past flight videos, with celebrities like Richard Simmons and Lindsay Lohan, have a quirkiness that the "high-energy airline" has gained a reputation for. The most recent ad has a similar style, however the company is showing its New Zealand pride a little more prominently.

"This time, we’re taking the opportunity to highlight the global reach of our business, and to recognise world events and celebrities in a uniquely Air New Zealand way," says Air New Zealand general manager of marketing and communications Mike Tod.

According to Tod, events like the Olympics are why passengers will see cameos from New Zealand's national rugby team, the All Blacks -- including captain Richie McCaw sporting a knee brace.

The video also includes a mention of Obama's support of gay marriage legislation and a shout-out from rapper Snoop Dogg.

There are other cameos, but we won't give them away because Air New Zealand is offering a trip around the world to one lucky viewer who can spot them all. Think you're up for the challenge?

Take a look at the past flight safety videos in the gallery below. What you think of the animated approach? Let us know in the comments.
