    Sprout Healthy Vending Further Expands Into Novato, California, With Operators Lisa Sinclair Smith and Tony Balsa

    Smith has had some unfortunate recent health emergencies, but it hasn’t stopped her from running a healthy vending business. She views her partnership with Sprout Healthy Vending as a great opportunity to endorse something close to her heart.

    “As a breast cancer survivor, I am very concerned about eating healthy and I wanted to promote something I really believe in,” said Smith. “I’m also a Russian adoption facilitator having lived in Russia for 10 years and helped 1000+ Russian orphans to be adopted. Now I wanted to do something to help American children.”

    Balsa also devotes his life to living and maintaining a healthy lifestyle after losing his wife to breast cancer several years ago. He is a gourmet cook with a focus on healthy eating. Together, Smith and Balsa decided this was the perfect way to sustain their own lifestyles as well as encourage their community to jump on the bandwagon.

    “The Sprout team is very efficient and they are also a lot of fun to work with. They are responsive and have been extremely helpful to us in our new business with them,” said Balsa.


    “We are very excited at the prospect of expanding healthy vending in Marin and Sonoma counties. Healthy vending in this area is long overdue and we think it will really make people ‘think’ about vending options besides the traditional ‘unhealthy’ ones. We especially feel that the schools could benefit from our Sprout Healthy Vending program.”
