Whether you want to keep an eye on your kids' online activity or want to ensure that your employees are staying on task, this program offers a nice set of features to help you do just that.
Pros
Settings Wizard: When you fist open this program, you'll be greeted by a Settings Wizard that will guide you through the process of configuring the app to suit your specific needs. Through this feature, you can decide whether you want the program to run on startup, select a hotkey to access the main interface, and make screenshot selections.
Screenshot options: There are several ways you can make use of screenshots in this program to supplement other monitoring features. For instance, you can opt to take a screenshot every time there's a window change or clipboard change, and you can also choose the quality you'd like for the screenshots on a sliding scale from Low to High.
Cons
Inactive features: The free version doesn't allow you to hide any program icons, but the options are still there on the interface. Similarly, the section for Online Monitoring is present, but you have to upgrade to a paid product to use that feature.
Bottom Line
Spyrix Free Keylogger is a competent program for monitoring user activity on your computer. It walks you through setup, so you can configure the program to best suit your needs, and since it's free, there's no real reason not to give it a try. It is a little frustrating that the Pro features are still listed and clickable in the Free version, but if you do decide you want to upgrade, a Pro license costs $49.
