Sri Lanka sends India into bat in Asia Cup

FATULLAH, Bangladesh (AP) — Sri Lanka captain Angelo Mathews won the toss and elected to bowl first against India in their Asia Cup game at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium on Friday.

Both teams made one change to their squads. India brought in Stuart Binny to replace Varun Aaron while Sri Lanka opted to bolster its spin attack bringing in Ajantha Mendis in place of paceman Suranga Lakmal.

Sri Lanka won the first match against Pakistan by 12 runs while India beat host Bangladesh by six wickets.
