Star Wars 7 Full Trailer Due This Month?

It’s just a few short months until ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ appears in cinemas across the globe… but could the full trailer be just around the corner?

According to Star Wars 7 News, the full (and final) trailer could be heading to our screens in just a couple of weeks.

“I spoke with friend who manages a chain Multiplex in Victoria, BC,” said one of their readers. “He confirmed that IMAX tickets for Star Wars the Force Awakens will be available for online purchase 12:00 am, Monday October 19… That’s when he told me, verbally, that The 19th of October is when we get the new trailer.”

“The first full trailer will actually be the last one,” they explained. “No more trailers after that, probably just a few TV spots and that’s it.”

And October 19th is the date to mark in your calendar.

Of course, this could be little more than hearsay… but Star Wars 7 News makes a pretty good case for why there may be more to it than that.

“During this year’s SDCC, [Star Wars 7 director] J.J. Abrams revealed that the full trailer for The Force Awakens will be released during the fall,” they explained. “There were lots of reports and rumors about when we could expect the trailer to hit, with the most common one being around the mid of October, during the premiere of Star Wars: Rebels Season 2.”

But perhaps the most convincing reason for the October 19th trailer lies in those elusive advanced ticket sales.

“The release date also matches with the previous rumors about the advance ticket sales,” they explained. And while again, it’s only a rumour, October 19th sounds like a solid bet for both the full ‘Star Wars 7’ trailer as well as seeing the first advance ticket sales.

“When can I buy tickets to The Force Awakens?” asks Full of Sith. “October 19th. That’s when. At least if you’ve got a Century or Cinemark theatre nearby. Although it’s likely a safe bet that your Regals and your AMCs will have their box-offices waiting to receive your money around the same time.”

Will it actually pan out that way? For now, we’ll have to wait and see. But with time running out, October 19th seems like a good choice. And it won’t be long before we find out.

‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ heads to cinemas on 17 December 2015.
