In 2010, mobile dating increased over 92% with the average online dater spending 12 minutes and 44 seconds per day on an online dating site by the end of that year. Now, as sites and services like Youtube and Skype have become more prolific, imagine online dating taking advantage of video-chat technology.

    Much evidence indicates that cam chat sites are achieving the desired result. Worldwide, 17% of married couples met online. Compared to more conventional dating, courtships are much shorter online. Offline courtships average 42 months while online courtships average 18.5 months. In the diverse societies of the Western world, finding that perfect match can be particularly difficult. 90% of Hindus are married to fellow Hindus, 83% of Mormons are married to fellow Mormons, and 73% of Catholics are married to fellow Catholics.
