Stephen Colbert Promotes ‘Late Show’ on Snapchat

Stephen Colbert is aiming for social-media domination.

The comedian is using Snapchat for his latest “Late Show” promotional campaign. Colbert has created a series of short videos that will be rolled out on Snapchat from Thursday until the premiere of “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

Snaps will be available through Snapchat’s Snap Channel within the app’s Discover section.

“Oh, hello there, Snapchat users — or as I believe you prefer to be called, Snapstronauts,” Colbert says in the first video.

Colbert announced earlier this week that he’s the new voice of the navigation app Waze. His voice will give users driving directions for a limited time. He also debuted a five-part web series in July called “Lunch With Stephen.”

George Clooney and Jeb Bush will appear on Tuesday’s “The Late Show” premiere, while Scarlett Johansson, Elon Musk and Amy Schumer will stop by later in the week.
