      AOL should have gone away long ago, just like Prodigy and CompuServe - I've been in the biz a long time...

      This must have been an easy article to write- there's only an AOL logo and no other content.

      This did however make me flash back to I think it was my freshman-sophomore years in college, they would always put the free AOL CD in your grocery bags after they rang you up, trying to get a few suckers. We sure had a lot of frisbees and drink coasters during those years!

      AOL dialup service is and was a joke...terribly slow to say the least. I have used the service in the early 90's and it surely sucked and I have been helping people still who use it and the service STILL sucks. Time for those people to move up to broadband

      Author got sidetracked trying to remove continuing fraudulent AOL charges from his credit card after canceling the service 2 years ago.
