NEW YORK (AP) — Stocks are off to a weak start on Wall Street as a September rally loses steam.
The Dow Jones industrial average fell eight points, less than 0.1 percent, to 15,322 after the first few minutes of trading Thursday. The Dow has gained 3.5 percent so far in September.
The Standard & Poor's 500 index was down two points, or 0.1 percent, at 1,687. The S&P 500 has risen for seven days straight.
The Nasdaq composite fell four points, or 0.1 percent, to 3,720.
Lululemon Athletica plunged $4.67, or 7 percent, to $64.43 after the high-end yoga apparel maker issued a weak profit outlook for the current quarter and cut its predictions for the full year.
Pandora Media jumped $1.90, or 9 percent, to $38.65 after naming a new CEO.
