    Stonehenge Partners Hires New Director of Retail Leasing

    Stonehenge Partners has hired Luciana Francese as Director of Retail Leasing. Luciana will work on the company's 750,000 square foot commercial portfolio which is located in Manhattan.

    Stonehenge, a New York City-based real estate owner and manager, today announced it has hired Luciana Francese as Director of Retail Leasing. In her new position, Ms. Francese will be responsible for overseeing the company’s commercial portfolio which consists of over 750,000 square feet of retail, office and garage space in Manhattan. Some of the high profile projects Stonehenge is currently marketing include 12,000 square feet of ground floor space at 555 Sixth Avenue, 8,000 square feet of ground floor space at 1143 Second Avenue and 30,000 square feet at 1619 Broadway.

    Luciana joins Stonehenge with tremendous experience in the New York real estate industry with particular expertise in the retail leasing business. Previously, Luciana held the position of Director of Leasing at G&S Investors where she oversaw the leasing and marketing of a commercial portfolio that included over 1 million square feet of space in New York and New Jersey. Prior to that, Luciana spent 4 years at The Blumenfeld Development Group where she worked closely on the lease-up of the Tanger Outlet Center at The Arches in Long Island.

    “Luciana is a very talented real estate professional who comes to Stonehenge with a great reputation and track record in successfully repositioning commercial properties. She will be a great addition to the Stonehenge team and help us maximize the value of the commercial component of our portfolio,” said Ofer Yardeni, a Managing Partner of Stonehenge.

    In the last 12 months, Stonehenge has acquired over $500 million of properties in Manhattan having recently closed on the acquisition of the DFR Portfolio which includes 7 properties encompassing over 400 residential units and prime retail space along First Avenue and in Midtown.

    “Stonehenge presented a great opportunity and I look forward to helping make important contributions as the firm continues to expand its portfolio and seek new opportunities in Manhattan,” said Luciana Francese.

    Ms. Francese earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture & Urban Planning and Journalism at New York University.
